Profile of the JIM study programm

The applied Joint International Master (in short: JIM) teaches the current state-of-the-art technologies of Computer Science as well as the ability, to apply these to demanding problems and to develop innovative solutions. The JIM program thus qualifies you to develop and apply scientific methods to difficult and complex problems in projects and research and to implement them with the appropriate knowledge. Advanced lectures in theoretical as well as applied fields of Computer Science are the focus of study.

In addition, JIM focuses on an international orientation by using English as the language of instruction and integrating a semester abroad in the USA. Moreover, it is possible to acquire a double degree during the semester abroad in the USA.

The JIM M. Sc. degree leads to very good opportunities on the job market, a higher starting salary as the B. Sc., and the chances to enter highly qualified positions in a globalized in-dustry. The topics you deal with are complex and highly demanding. Typical job areas are:
