| Admission | A qualified Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with a final grade above a 2.0 is an entry requirement for JIM. In case of a lower grade (up to 2.5), individual decisions are being made. Criteria that count in favour of the student can focus on other aspects of the Computer Science study program (e.g. practical work in Computer Science, finishing the Bachelor Degree in the standard time, contributions to the work of the student representatives, a semester abroad).Other appropriate university degrees can count as entry requirements as well. In special cases, the student may need to be asked to take additional courses |

Profile of the JIM study programm
The applied Joint International Master (in short: JIM) teaches the current state-of-the-art technologies of Computer Science as well as the ability, to apply these to demanding problems and to develop innovative solutions. The JIM program thus qualifies you to develop and apply scientific methods to difficult and complex problems in projects and research and to implement them with the appropriate knowledge. Advanced lectures in theoretical as well as applied fields of Computer Science are the focus of study.
In addition, JIM focuses on an international orientation by using English as the language of instruction and integrating a semester abroad in either the USA or Australia. Moreover, it is possible to acquire a double degree during the semester abroad in the USA.
